(S)KIN

A supernatural found footage feature based on Scottish selkie folklore. In production. 2027.

After her father's death, Cora Glenhelm returns to the remote Highland island that built her family's fishing empire, and uncovers what its fortune really cost.

(S)Kin (stylised (S)KIN) is the debut feature of British horror filmmaker Isaac Williams. Cora Glenhelm is desperate to escape the corruption of her family's fishing empire. When her father dies, she travels to the remote Highland island where the family's fortune was made, intending to put his legacy to rest. With her is Fraser Gunn, a journalist making a documentary. But the island is not as empty as it looks, and the local stories about what lives in the water around it are not just stories. Assembled entirely from recovered footage, (S)Kin draws on the Scottish legend of the selkie.
